GLI employs a value-based importing strategy. We import machined parts from our global supply chain when doing so provides a manufacturing or cost advantage for the benefit of our customers.

We recognize that importation from off-shore suppliers is a reality of present-day manufacturing—and it’s a practice we use to the advantage of our customers.

Our company has relationships with several Chinese companies, and we are continually building new relationships to reduce costs and manage capacity. We can back up our offshore suppliers for rush orders or emergencies because we have domestic manufacturing capabilities.
